It's not like this is unexpected.. what were they hoping for by traveling province to province, going home, going out and playing a contact maskless sport . I hope they are ok and do not have any lasting effects... But honestly if they were not wanting to take this chance as a whole then the league never should have had a season until a vaccine was available.. they honestly should shut the whole thing down before someone dies or their career is shortened because of lasting effects

If I was coaching. I would have a zoom meeting with all 20. Ask who went to Whistler. And cut them over the meeting and then leave it

This season is farcical with all the re-scheduling of games (not that it's the league's fault, safety is the top priority) but the whole fair and equal competition factor has been thrown out of whack.

Also, I love how people respond to Dreger's tweet above and give their anecdotal stores about having the virus and being fine now. You know what, good for you, but everybody responds differently to this virus and just because you recovered doesn't mean another person will. Also, so many people overlook that potential passing of the virus to people with compromised immune systems.
