I'm trying to remember if Barry Pederson was hated by fans mainly because he was part of the Cam Neely trade - Maybe put him in the bottom middle

Messier by the time he came to us was a bad player, but by the time he left he was average wasn't he but I guess he could be good player hated by fans? I would slot Booth in Average and Louis E in Bad Player Hated by the Fans lol......

I cant put Gino in that bad player category. for his role he was great and as much as I loved Clouts that pretty much nails him lol

I think I was too young to understand the Pederson/Neely trade so I didnt have the hate. only years later did I really hate it as I understood hockey more and then 2011 really fired it up lol

I just did this for the Jackets and I put MacLean in bottom right because he was a terrible player and everyone hates him. So Benning fits, IMO

Just hated when they were on the ice because they were so terrible.
Like my dad hates Chaos Giraffe.


Gubberson's case was contract related, but also I recall him talking down to some of the young'uns. "you don't really understand hockey unless you have 300 games under your belt" and then playing terrible himself.
