Series notes
All-time: Blue Jackets lead series 7-5-1
Season series: tied 1-1
Last game: 12/12/2013 @ Madison Square Garden. Blue Jackets won 4-2

Doob's take: The big news is the return of Sergei Bobrovsky to the Blue Jackets. How good will he be? Will he return to for or will there be some rust to kick off? Also, who starts in net for the Rangers? Henrik Lundqvist is the King of New York, but Cam Talbot has been playing better. If Lundqvist starts it will be the last 2 Vezina Trophy winners going up against one another. Lastly, Anisimov, Dubinsky, Nash, Moore, etc will face off against their old teams so that always adds a bit of drama. Doobster think this will be one of those tough fought physical games, but at the end of the day the Rangers are playing better than the Blue Jackets as of late so I predict the Rangers to win 4-2.

Doobster is very pleased to see this Bobrovsky vs Lundqvist matchup. This makes it into the game of the night for me.

I'm a bit resentful of the Blue Jackets because I read somewhere or other that it was my
native Oklahoma City , Oklahoma they beat for the expansion franchise years ago, but against
a New Dork City team like the stRangers that doesn't matter very much.

For this game, anyway,

GO COLUMBUS! ! !

And here he doesn't understand the concept of trolling, again. :L

Can we ban him from this forum? Second time he's done this.

Nash just barely missed that one. Good action so far.

Good possession by the Rangers, rewarded with a power play.

And just like that Dubisnky re-directs a shot and it beats Hank past his right pad.

1-0 Jackets.

Blue Jackets go up 1-0 with a deflection from Dubinsky.

Kreider rings one off the post and now the Rangers are going to the PP.

Rangers go on the power play. Kreider is due for a goal this game.
