Vincent Lecavalier (back) isn't expected to return for another two-to-three weeks.



Lecavalier was hoping to return by the end of the month, but that seems doubtful now. Still, Flyers GM Paul Holmgren is pleased with Lecavalier's progress. He has nine goals and 14 points in 22 games this season.

Tough guy, that hit by Wilson was brutal. I think he should take precautions tho, he said he's suffering neck pains, no need to take that lightly IMO.

He said he's fine, I wish people would stop being as apprehensive about everything, not every player lies about their situation - he'll be fine and if he doesn't feel good he'll come out - that's it

Why not just have it checked out? I don't know if he's lying about the extent of his injury, but I don't think he has much knowledge on the subject either (unless he's had highly advanced training in neurological sciences). A simple neck injury could lead to an even worse injury. It makes no sense to take the chance. We all saw him go into the board pretty hard, he should be checked out before being given a chance to play another game.

He had a concussion two seasons ago and missed a month, so he would know the difference between a concussion and one that isn't - he said it too, he said he felt OK when he came back to the locker room and that he knew that it wasn't a concussion because he had felt much worse when he got hit a few years ago
