I missed most of it due to work. Saw the score and thought wow, they scored big. I'll take the win.

This game may be the best regular season game I've attended in a while. It's up there with the "Flyers/Penguins Hartnell 1 second left Overtime" game

Those 2 goals and 2 assists in one period bumped Claude Giroux up into a tie for 26th in scoring while only a handful of points out of the top 12. I think he'll get there in short order and this was a guy that was around 150th in scoring just several weeks back.

Now we're 15-8-4 since the 1-7 start. I know there's been a lot of seesaw action lately as far as wins and losses are concerned, but we've won eight straight at home and have gone 4-0-1 against our division since that shutout loss to NJ on November 7th. If we continue to be strong at home and within our division, the playoff position we just acquired will be firmly solidified.

As far as this game was concerned, I actually thought we played a pretty solid 1st period and obviously 3rd period. It's just those 3-4 mistakes that led to odd man rushes and Columbus capitalized on basically every one of them. The bad line change, the fumble at the point on the power play and the lackluster play by Scotty deep in his own zone when there was no whistle are all silly mistakes that are easily correctable. Meanwhile, I thought Mcelhinney was solid all along, despite eventually giving up five.

This ended up being the most exciting game of the season by far. Incredible resiliency shown by our guys. I'd like to see it more often.

NP, 5 goal comeback in the 3rd, wow...

The Blue Jackets were 36-0-1 when leading through two periods under Todd Richards. They had a 3-0 lead through two in this game. I think this outburst speaks volumes to the resiliency, potential and overall offensive abilities of the Flyers moving forward.

Definitely a good sign that rekindles a little bit of hope for this team again.

At least you get the feeling that you always have a chance to win even if things look hopeless. Very impressive comeback last night. Flyer fans should be proud.

There's a 50/50 shot that I'll be at the next home game against Minnesota to try to keep this streak rolling.

Thats a good game to attend. It will be a lot of up and down action with the speed both teams have. i just hope we bring our game and change the outcome of our last meeting with them. T hats where you come in with the extra luck hope you get the tickets. :hope:
