Maybe some of you can post a few games to watch each week and a couple guys to watch to help some of us get back into the swing of things?

Just text me brutha! Or check out the draft thread for prospects.

Few good games this week

Tennessee/Florida
Clemson/Louisville
Arizona State/Texas Tech (no defense in this game)
Texas/USC (Herman finally figure out last game he needs to run Chris Warren III to win, Ehlinger may take the starting job soon)
Ole Miss/Cal... Won't be much D in this game either, could be a fun game.

Wyoming vs. Oregon could be an interesting one. Mostly just because Josh Allen gets another crack at a good team to prove he still belongs in the talks of the top-3 QB's entering next year's draft.

Another is the Miami vs. Florida State game.

Yeah and Oregon has a pretty poor defense so Allen will have a good opportunity in a spotlight game. I think Oregon will score on Wyoming at will though so not sure how close the game will be. Allen really lacks weapons around him which is too bad for him. Once Gentry graduated he lost a ton, but still he should have a pretty good game vs a fairly weak D (although not as bad as they were last year)... He really needs a good game here.

FSU vs Miami actually isn't until Oct 7th, cancelled this week due to the hurricane.

Oh whoops must have been looking at an old schedule that hadn't been updated.

And yeah Oregon should win this one and probably by 14+ points. Still this is a huge game for him. Teams need to see him step up against better competition. Beating up on Mountain West defenses doesn't do much to move the needle. Now given yes you are not just looking at level of competition but it still plays some into the evaluation.

I am interested in seeing a little more of Oregon QB Justin Herbert too. Drafted him in college fantasy. Great size and tools.

Of course there is Royce Freeman in that game as well who has done nothing but helped his stock after returning for his SR year when many thought he would declare.

Freeman returning really shocked me. Very impressive start to the year for sure. Still going a bit under the radar though with guys like Barkley and Guice getting all the attention.

Barkley and Guice are on a different level.

Barkley might have my highest draft grade since Adrian Peterson.

He's insane. Strong, fast, vision, smart, good character, good receiver, squats crazy amount of weight. He has EVERYTHING.

Guice is crazy good too.

Every year obviously good RB's but the last three been pretty crazy with Gurley, Fournette and Barkley. Seems like it gets better every year. Gurley and Fournette not the best OL's so we will see how they do.

For the record I never called Trent Richardson a can't miss RB, but I did call Gurley, Fournette and Barkley. Gurley had a down year last year so see how he rebounds.

Barkley is probably my favorite of the 3, just when you don't think it can get any better.

Gurley needs to have a better year though.

I haven't done a ton of research this year on the RB position. I've mostly just seen a couple of games of both Guice and Barkley and then some highlights of this year. Fournette though was one of my favorite players to watch of this past draft. I think Nick and I did a draft episode mostly just talking about him and how much we loved his game. He changes how teams have to game plan. I would have loved him on the Broncos behind this much bigger power run blocking OL. Obviously knew we wouldn't get him but a man can dream.

Fournette's SO year before injury was about as good as it got for a college RB. Then last year year he had the ankle injury and played it very safe knowing he was NFL bound so he just sorta coasted.

Barkley's power, vision and speed is so similar and he is staying healthy.
