Petersen patterns a lot after Carroll's Seahawks. Offense (read option) to the defense. Petersen even got the rugby tackling thing from Pete Carroll seeing how Carroll sent two of his defensive coaches to a Washington practice to teach them how. Now Petersen has the Huskies practicing at the Seahawk facilities for two days during the summer camp.

I think the tackling is one big thing that sets the Huskies defense apart from other college teams. They don't miss very often.

I know the big story is Alabama's D, vs UW's O. However I still think the game will be won or lost with the other matchup. Alabama could struggle on offense. They like to run the ball down peoples throats, and there passing attack can be suspect at times. If we stack the box, this could be a low scoring game.
