Kapernick is a turnover machine and doesn't really excite me, but at this point what else can you do? If obtained I will be hoping for the best. He has had some moments, it just hasn't been in awhile.
Well, Jake Plummer was a turnover machine too in Arizona, and yet almost took us to a Super Bowl in 2005.

Which was the only year he wasn't a turnover machine for us.

To add to that. I am all for giving players a chance at a fresh start. We saw what he could do early in his career with his legs. Totally different QB then Manning and to have a QB who can escape pressure excites me doe.

Kaepernick is the best available option at this point unless drafting a QB in which Denver will probally do anyway.

Have you asked Brandon Marshall what he thinks of him since they played together?

That's the one thing that worries me. If we can get him to cut out the TOs, he could be petty good here. If he starts turning it over, hopefully it'll be a quick plug pulling leading to the Siemian Era.

Interceptions wise he has never been that bad. It is the fumbles that he needs to work on. His high for Interceptions is 10 back in 2014. He still pretty much had a 2-1 touchdown to interception ratio during his worst season as a full time starter. His best years he had a 3-1 touchdown to interception ratio so if we can get him back to that and I think with the Broncos not asking him to do too much he can do it.

Of course, not facing the Rams, Cards, and Hawks defenses twice a year should help his numbers a bit as well.

Accuracy as a whole and making his progressions in Kubiak's offense is my only concern with Kaepernick. As long as Denver does not have to give up a ton for him I'm all for them trying to get him. At first wasn't thrilled but the more I have read about Kaepernick and watched some film on him the potential of him to well in Denver is better then any other option available.

Just replace them with the Chiefs defense twice a year......

He's worth a try, but I'd also have a backup plan too in mind if I were Elway.

Also think his mobility can help out an o line that looks like it will be pretty young. Also has to work on touch when it comes to throwing some short passes.

I think no matter even if we signed Osweiler we were going to start working on a back up plan. Kaepernick just gives us the ability to move on a year earlier if he doesn't pan out compared to Brock who would have had the first 2 years of his contract fully guaranteed.

I will say though if we do trade a 2nd round pick for him then that to me is Elway showing that they really really like Kaepernick and love what he could do here. 3rd round pick or later and probably more of a "well we will take a chance and just see."

Hopefully we draft Dak Prescott or Cardale Jones. Jones will need a year or two to sit. Elway's little project. Prescott safer, Jones more upside.

Paul's on fire.

I would really like to see Kap in Denver. The Big Winner will be Virgil Green and that's good too. Kubiak has made a career of making crappy QB's look capable. With Kap he gets a guy with plus skills and smarts - it could go well. Still - I say - watch out for Siemian.

They need to hit up the Redskins about RGIII. He's never had that kind of defense supporting him. I think he'd be a good fit for their offense and give them a QB with a little mobility.

I don't trust RGIII's work ethic...... Or rather lack thereof.

He took a Redskins squad to the playoffs......with a Jim Haslett coached defense. That tells you a lot about him. And in Kubiak's system.....I think he'd be fine. You guys could do a lot worse than him. Like Geno Smith bad....
