Look closely -- Of those 7 games that Schaub won, he beat one winning team. That was an upset of the Steelers, where Schaub threw for a pedestrian 138 yards. The Texans were a team that were impressive due to Wade Phillips D and that zone-blocking running attack.

They also beat an eventual 9-7 Titans team by 34 pts with Schaab. also their losses with Schaub at QB were respectable performances. he threw for 375 yds and 3 tds in a 33-40 shootout vs the Saints...

I agree that last yrs Texans teams was good enough to win half of their games without him. but the Steelers are the same way without Ben because of the strenght of their defense. I think the Texans could have won 12 or 13 games and stayed in contention for HFA if he stayed healthy.

anyway, i'm not a huge fan of his, but he's a solid top 10 QB imo

I can't figure out why you people are so down on Dalton. FFS, what does he have to do? Throw for 3,000 yards and 20 TDs as a rookie w/ no training camp to speak of?? Oh wait.

I believe he'll have a great season this yr,just can't waite to see how all the pieces fall into place though. GO BENGALS!!!!!:peace:
