Good news! He should win the job fairly easily.
Who is in his way?
Is this kid CB still in the program?
Cooper Bateman - Yahoo! Sports
I took a peek and I was pretty shocked at the lack of QB pickups...
It's clear how Saban views college QB's. "Congrats. I just gave you a scholarship. Don't fuck this up for the 10 future NFL prospects around you. I know where you sleep at night."
I bet Saban has an exact JFF replica punching bag in his mansion that he wakes up in the middle of the night and pummels.

Bateman is still with the team. He redshirted this past season I believe, can't remember. And from what I've heard from my fellow Bama fans on here is that Del Rio was the best of the bunch with Bateman right behind him. David Cornwell enrolled early and will probably Coker's best competition for the starting job. But I'd guess Coker starts 2014 and 2015, Cornwell redshirts 2014, back up in 2015 and starts in 2016.
Ah, I was thinking he had RS already. I guess that explains why he was unable to beat out Sims.![]()
Bama could get the best campus interleague flag football QB and not miss a beat. Just turn around and hand it off to Yeldon and that badass true freshman that tore OU's D a new one in the Sugar Bowl.
2013 OUTLOOK:Strong-armed, mobile quarterback, who spent his second season with the Seminoles as the third-string quarterback but enters the fall as the lone signal caller to take any snaps in a collegiate game. Will be in a three-way battle for the starting spot vacated by EJ Manuel. Had another solid spring practice in 2013, showing good game management in scrimmages and the annual spring game where he completed 15-of-26 passes for 186 yards and a touchdown playing for both the Gold and Garnet teams. His athleticism from running a wing-T offense in high school and being an all-metro player as a forward in basketball gives him great ability to make plays on the run as well as moving around in the pocket. 2012: Redshirt freshman backup quarterback who saw action in four games...completed 3-of-5 passes for 45 yards over three games (Murray State, Savannah State and Wake Forest)...threw his first career touchdown pass, a 19-yard strike to Kelvin Benjamin in the win over Savannah State. 2011: Redshirt season PERSONAL: A three-star prospect by Rivals.com and Scout.com who also was ranked the No. 18 pro-style quarterback by Rivals.com and No. 44 QB by Scout.com...rated a three-star prospect by 247Sports...switched from running a wing-T offense in his junior season to a pro-style offense as a senior and completed 94-of-153 passes for 1,508 yards and 16 touchdowns while also carrying 61 times for 355 yards and five TDs...led St. Paul's to the semifinals of the Alabama State playoffs and a 10-2 record in his final season...No. 17 on the SuperPrep Alabama 43...selected to play in the Alabama-Mississippi All-Star game as a senior...rated the No. 70 pro-style quarterback by ESPN...also an exceptional basketball player who led St. Paul's to 17 wins as a junior while averaging 17.4 points per game...named the Class 5A basketball player of the year in Mobile County as a junior and was invited to the state of Alabama's North-South All Star basketball game...averaged 21.9 points and nine rebounds per game as a senior for a team that made it to the Class 5A Area1 finals.
Damn RollTide14 0 how long u gotta wear that avi?
Hey any of you Northern schools want to play football in the south today? It is gridlock in Birmingham. I might be stuck downtown for two days before temperature rises above freezing. Snow and ice everywhere! This would probably be nothing up North but is shutting us down!!!
