It's clear how Saban views college QB's. "Congrats. I just gave you a scholarship. Don't fuck this up for the 10 future NFL prospects around you. I know where you sleep at night."

We have too many QB's. Just had one transfered to Oregon St, who had offers to UCLA and a few other schools but choose to walk on @ Alabama last year.

Bateman is the highest rated recruit we have right now, but we have cornwell coming in this year who will compete with him likely after Coker leaves. The thing about Bateman is he wasn't able to pass up Sims last year on the depth chart, so something is going on there, don't know what. The other 2 QB's will likely never be more than backups.

Pretty sure there are going to be more transfers.

Bateman is still with the team. He redshirted this past season I believe, can't remember. And from what I've heard from my fellow Bama fans on here is that Del Rio was the best of the bunch with Bateman right behind him. David Cornwell enrolled early and will probably Coker's best competition for the starting job. But I'd guess Coker starts 2014 and 2015, Cornwell redshirts 2014, back up in 2015 and starts in 2016.
