I generally regard it as running somewhere through the middle of VA.

But I think moving the line further away from me hurts my case rather than helping it

Charlotte itself is very blue with 9-2 D vs. R in city council, a D mayor, and either 6-3 or 7-2 (I don't remember) D vs. R on the county board of commissioners.

You don't have to get very far out of Charlotte for it to get red fast.

This is the clearest image of it I could find (I know it's from 2008) where you can clearly see where Charlotte is located and the sea of red surrounding it.

My niece is in Med School in Charleston and I have to rate it in one of my favorite places to be. Such a great city with really, really deep history. And yeah, friendly doesn't even begin to cover it.

Plus; Folly Beach.


Myrtle Beach is fun. I have no use for anything else in South Carolina. Except my sister sometimes.

If you want a true southern experience, visit dirt track in rural NC/SC. That would be way more 'Murica than a 4th of July parade. Trust me.

I'm not familiar with T-Bones. Interesting that it's not really a BBQ joint but apparently has great ribs. Not a rib place, but the next time you come through, I highly recommend Midwood Smokehouse in Charlotte. Be sure it's the Central Ave. location. I think it's pretty much the consensus best BBQ joint in town.
