I've never really understood how someone follows NASCAR. Like let's say you have a favorite driver, it's not like you can watch him for the entire race. You watch whatever the network decides to show you. How do you actively root for/follow drivers?

I never understood it either. There has to be so much fluff in those broadcasts to make it palatable.

I watch every F1 race and I find it enjoyable even when the Ferraris aren't anywhere near the top (which is how it's been for the past decade pretty much). Maybe Nascar people are the same.

All I know about Nascar is don't get out of your car when Tony Stewart is on the track.

/Too soon?

Why would anybody ever be stupid enough to get out of their car on any racetrack unless your car is on fire and waiting for the safety stewards would result in your death?

You buy their hats/toy cars/shirts/whatever their sponsor sells.

NASCAR is WWE on wheels. I worked with a guy who loved it and he'd have it on for background noise when we worked weekends. Weird, every driver they did a promo of before the race had a really good day that day. Such coincidence. Many curious.

I love F1, Indy Car, and Endurance racing. But its not just about drivers or the sponsors to me. I love learning about the technology, and seeing how the tech makes its way to street cars.

Plus, in F1 and Indy especially, you have to be surgically precise as a driver. One tap on a wall or a competitor and it's over for you. Take a bit more skill it seems. That adds to the suspense when guys actually get bunched up. Max Verstappen is gold to watch.

And I personally love seeing the current "Limping Horse" Ferraris. It's the plight of the pitiful McLarens that has me bummed.

And I realized last night that I was complaining about the lack of interesting things about NASCAR when I was preparing to watch six hours of old cars be sold at auction. It's like ten thousand spoons when all you need is a knife.

It seems pretty much everybody on the Canadian side is pissed:

Hundreds of 'over-refreshed' floating Americans upset Ontario mayor

Ok lets see if I am getting this right finally :noidea:. So if the Mayor of Sarnia wants the US to pay for their border jumpers and Trump wants Mexico to pay for the wall to stop their border jumpers and Mexico is increasing their border patrols trying to stop the Guatemalian refugees from jumping the trains into Mexico....Well.....I got the perfect solution.....Have the Major of Sarnia send the bill to the Guatemala! Voila...everyone wins. :L

That Crazy line goes between North Carolina and Virginia and extends across the country?

I am on the correct side of it. So is DDD.

Dare and Sabrefan are... uh.... suffering.
