My clock was 3 hours ahead when I woke up. I thought it was noon but it was 9. I just stayed up. Went grocery shopping and hit up Target. Finally cooked myself an awesome breakfast and brewed a nice Sunday morning coffee.

Rocking out to the new Cynic EP. Which is unbelievably awesome.

During my physical, my doctor asked me about my daily activity
> level, and so I described a typical day this way:
>
> "Well, yesterday afternoon, I waded along the edge of a lake,
> escaped from wild dogs in the heavy brush, marched up and down
> several rocky hills, stood in a patch of poison ivy, crawled out of
> quicksand, and jumped away from an aggressive rattlesnake."
>
> Inspired by my story, the doctor said, "You must be some outdoorsman!"
>
>
>
> "No," I replied, "I'm just a shitty golfer."

Like anything worthwhile in life a bad round of golf needs a solid foundation. If you're a drinker, a hangover & two hours of sleep is a good place to start.

If you don't drink, there are other things you can do to lay down a good foundation for a bad round of golf. Like eating at a Mexican restaurant that's received a score of 58 from the board of health. This will add not only discomfort but also a sense of urgency to your round. And it opens the door to creating a story that your buddies will tell for years to come.

Tip: In an emergency, a golf towel makes an excellent substitute for toilet paper.

From Jeff Foxworthy,'s "How to Really Stink at Golf"

Morning JS.

I'm not a fan of Cynic.

They have changed significantly from their inception. They were a spinoff of the band Death from Florida. They were a more technical progressive version of Death Metal back in the early nineties. Then they didn't release anything till like 5 years ago and completely changed to a more "futuristic" sound... Hard to explain. I am into progressive, trippy shit, so I am a huge fan. They are great musicians. They def incorporated a "worldly" sound in the new EP that isn't even out yet.

And good morning Matt. Just working. This state is like a fucking wasteland. Power out everywhere, trees lying across the roads everywhere. This is like 5x worse than Hurricane Irene for CT. Way more power outages and overall destruction.

The best golf joke ever?.................probably me at the driving range.

I drive at over 300 yards consistently.

The 1st 150, its straight as an arrow - the next 150+ it's slicing to the right about 20-30 yards. lol :ohwell:
