Well this morning is not off to a good start.

The ear stretching did not go as well as I originally thought. I'm going to go to the doctor now because bloooooooooooooooood.

Boo. I stretched too fast and tore cartilage and now I can't wear any jewelry in my lobes until it heals which means the ears are going to close up a lot. BOO, I SAY.

So I assume you have gauges in your ears? Is that what they are called? I am getting old.

Well I *had* a zero gauge in there for about 36 hours. Who knows what it will shrink down to without any jewelry in it!

You guys should have seen me this morning when I pulled the plug out and blood started pouring out. I was hopping around my house and quietly screaming and knocking shit over.

It reminded me of the time I cut my hand washing dishes and needed to get stitches.* When we got back from the ER my boyfriend was like, "Did you run around the house and touch everything before we left?! There's even blood on the blender!"

*Yet another reason I try to stay out of kitchens.

Ok so I going to assume a zero gauge is small.

Well no, not really. Zero was the biggest I had ever gotten up to. I started with regular pierced ears and moved down to an 18 gauge. And then it was down to 16, then 14, and so on and so on. Zero is big enough to see through if you have a tunnel-ed piece of jewelery.

Ok, because remember I am old now I guess, but why would you want another hole in your head?

I can picture that scene in a CSI episode.

I'm doing good, my morning isn't as bad as yours. In pain from boxing last night. Just demolished this amazing chicken steak and cheese grinder. Now I HAVE to work out later to burn that fucker off. I had 8 gauge, but I got rid of those quick... Pierced my labret too, but that lasted like 2 months before I was sick of it. Luckily every piercing healed up nice, can't even tell.

Now I just want INK!

I didn't want another hole. I wanted two! :D

So, honestly, I just like the way it looks. I like some piercings. I had my lip and my nose pierced for awhile but I had to take them out for work. With the exception of stretching your ears, piercings aren't permanent. They're just fun decoration.

Even with the ear stretching, it's not necessarily permanent. In high school I got them down to a six gauge and then stopped and they went back to normal pierced ear size and then I started again.

Plugs are cool, but those tunnel things are ugly... just my opinion.
