I didnt want to say anything bad about Reagan because I knew you were friends in elementary school with him.
That bastard stole Jane Wyman away from me.

Gee what a shocker. A MAGAT got conned by a con artist.Oh no, Catturd has decided he's had enough of Meatball Ron...
Weird that they all have so much money in these stocks (and many others, obviously) on such modest government salaries.Duh.
Seriously the sky is blue and water is wet. If this comes as a shock to anyone they were living under a rock.Duh.
Paying them was supposed to prevent the temptation for them to accept outside money.Between insider trading, PAC and lobby group money all politicians could truly do this without a wage.
Yep that notion was very short-sighted to think people wouldn't want more and more money.Paying them was supposed to prevent the temptation for them to accept outside money.
Another outdated notion that some slave owners 250 years ago put in a document that desperately needs changed.
I love the interaction on that thread where they blame the other political party. Seriously they all do it and if they didn’t put the D or R next to the name I guarantee most of the people fighting wouldn’t know which party they were associated with.Weird that they all have so much money in these stocks (and many others, obviously) on such modest government salaries.

I use the ACA as a perfect example of this from the past. Every last one of them were heavily vested in the Health Insurance industry, they all owned stock in the major players. And from my standpoint, the Fortune 10 company, who benefited from the ACA, I was working with at the time knew exactly which PAC's they funded. Trust me it wasn't just the democratic PAC's who were "for it".
The movie was out in 1992. That last bit was a little too real.
