I feel sorry for his kids, tough enough to grow up without a father and the way social media is so prevalent these days, you know other kids will find out who their dad was and the bullying will be over the top.

Edit: Upon further review, maybe growing up without a jackass for a father isn't all that bad. Mom could meet a new guy who could turn out to be a great step-dad.

Ohio officials say air quality in East Palestine is fine but not to drink the water

Officials gave an update on environmental impacts following the train derailment along the Ohio-Pennsylvania border and the hazardous material containment efforts that followed.

Yeah, the Jet Stream has carried the airborne toxins to Erie PA.

There are some reports of smaller animals just dropping dead. One woman posted a video of the 4 hens and one rooster that she had in a coop in her yard 10 miles from the site just died two days after the crash. Another woman who runs a rescue for injured foxes and coyotes also around 10-15 miles away has reported a few animals have died and the ones who are alive have swollen eyes and are coughing. Photos and videos to back up the claims.

But's it's okay, Mike DeWine has said that they have done testing and he will hold the railroad "accountable". He also refused Federal assistance beyond letting the Feds from EPA on site. Joe Biden offered help and he said "we got it handled".

That is the part the conservatives are failing to convey when going after Biden and Buttigieg. Granted they could have made some sort of comment sooner vs later to keep the republicans from adding fuel to that fire.

Earlier on Monday, Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine said he approved the operation of the "controlled release" at the site in East Palestine, Ohio. The alternative — possibly waiting until the cars break down themselves — would have been more difficult to manage, according to DeWine.

Also I love the inane conspiracy theory going around now that no media covered the event originally. A simple google search will show all the major news agencies ran stories right after along with the AP, NPR and all the local news coverage.
