This "good guy with a gun" bullshit needs to stop now. Forever.

They have Armored vehicles and long guns and body armor and outnumbered the killer 30 to 1 and they were bested by a fucking doorknob.

They stood nearby for 45 minutes before anyone thought to ask for a key. It was an off-duty border patrol agent who responded (from 40 miles away), got the key and ended it. They heard "sporadic shots" during that 45 minutes. You know what each of those shots was, right? Every shot was a life they could have saved. One kid said while he was hiding he heard a cop yell through the door for any kids to yell out if they were in there. One did. The killer shot her.



Everything is dumber in Texas.
