So they are essentially trying to out Kevin McCarthy?

When these republicans attack each other it is fun.

Don't forget that the turning on McCarthy is because he got mad about Cawthorn spilling the beans on the coke orgies.

1) This better not be an April Fools thing

2) 193 House Republicans voted against it
The funny thing is that it would probably benefit republican voters more than democrats.

It should be passed by both and shouldn’t even be a debate.

Obviously cheaper insulin is good but by doing this only for insured people it doesn’t help the poor much and it’s just going to be passed onto premiums anyway, no?

I guess it’s a small win. The real action would be to go after pharma cartels entirely and fuck their shit up.

The responses below this post had “Ottawa is in Ontario” trending through this morning along with the usual “Ford’s an idiot/fat/crook etc” stuff:

The responses below this post were far kinder, strangely:

I honestly think if Doug Ford saved a bunch of kittens from a burning house Twitter would unanimously agree he started the fire.

/now, the pic with the masks outside but not while sitting across from each other at a table? No idea lol

I
Biden needs to pull out his pen and start signing some executive orders or else the Dems are going to get slaughtered in the mid-term elections.
Mostly I agree. They can't really run on "at least were not not Trump and co". But the flip side is right now more than ever more people I know are just going to vote for a party regardless of candidate even at a local level.

Come on now they have to make sure they are on, at least, Obama Care to get the benefit.
Don't let any of these politicians fool you, even the ones who voted no to this. They get just as big as kickbacks from the healthcare industry as other lobbies.

Also by making sure you have to have insurance essentially means the Drug companies will get 100% of their profits from the cash cow that is insulin.

NOTE: The ones that voted no, knew this was going to pass. They only voted no to keep their political career in their districts.

Which unfortunately is completely normal. The game now is about voter turnout, which is what the latest wave of voter suppression laws across the country is all about. "Voter fraud" is just a smokescreen that too many have been duped over.

What if they don't want Obamacare and are on the ACA instead?
