I wouldn't use that as an example of hope...anything to stick it to the "liberal" public school system...

So a 14-year-old minor has free speech rights and is not subject to punishment from adults for their actions. How far does it go? Does a five-year-old throwing a tantrum (which is basically what the 14-year-old did) get the same protection?

I'm no lawyer, but it seems like a dangerous precedent to me. What do you think, @elocomotive ?
