That's a real Albertan Mount Rushmore up there on that, I guess, stage isn't it?

Yamahamma, it's fright night! Some pretty straight line family trees in that group I'd guess.

Yup, I think that's likely the Pincher Creek - Cardston - Lethbridge triangle of terror Kenny :D

Wait until Trump finds out Toyota and Honda produce more cars in the US than Ford, Chevy and Tesla.

And most likely your BMW is from South Carolina and Kia SUV models are from Georgia.

BBC tried to play this announcement live from the Oval Office but he was so scatterbrained and nonsensical they had to cut away and try to make sense of what they'd heard.
Maryland and Baltimore are fucked. From the huge losses of federal jobs in the state, to research grants being cut that led to job losses at a few of the major hospitals/ universities in the city.... now this

A guy I used to work with ages ago left the IT biz and went to work at the port, and over the last couple years has become a full blown Trumper. He's alienated a lot of people, blamed Biden for everything that is wrong with the ports, and wasted a ton of keystrokes on how Trump needs a chance to fix things and people need to let it play out.

But today, he's PISSED that leopards would eat his face.

Many of these are manufactured with parts actually built overseas and sent here to be assembled. So does the tarriff not apply unless all components are made here? Does it apply if "finally assembly" takes place in the States? And would "Final Assembly" mean dealer prep, like sticking logos on the car and taking the scratch protection off?

I dare say this wasn't well thought out and very complicated due to a global economy.

Oh I am sure the majority of port worker votes went to Trump, I'd say this would be a learning experience but Trump supporters are usually beyond learning anything.

It just kind of bums me out, with murders and violent crimes going way down and the city's population actually growing for the first time in years - good things were happening. And all of this will probably put a halt to that.

I mean, I have only been shot at 7 times this year. 3 of those were by my wife - so they dont really count. So 4 times in 3 months, new record for me.

Bought a Honda last week ("Final Assembly" was in Indiana). Dealer told me that Honda ships vehicles now without battery, spark plugs, and anything else that can be easily stolen in transit.

Back in my day PDI was just a clean up process. Now apparently the final step of assembly is at the dealer lot.

Times have changed

Also, in regards to the components' origin:

Love this part:
This component employs data from the American Automobile Labeling Act, which has been in effect since 1994 and requires automakers to report the overall percentage of U.S. and Canadian content,
They don't differentiate between parts made in US and Canada and consider it all "American Made".

For example, the engine that is in the vast majority of Ford F-150 and above pickup trucks, the Mustang GT and the Police-Spec Explorer is "American Made" in Windsor, Ontario.
