At some point people are going to have enough.

The economy seems to be a big factor in the election then immediately after Elmo talks about things will need to get harder for average Americans for a while while government spending is cut. And now he's talking about social security.

Great a born wealthy now billionaire who got tons of money from the government now wants to cut government spending in ways that it hurts the lower and middle class.

If he succeeds I'm sure he'll be safe walking down the streets of middle America

Everything I can remember in my lifetime has been a transfer of wealth from the lower/middle class to the wealthy.

CEO pay up a gazillion percent while minimum wage stays stagnate for a decade
Weston (and the rest of them) earning billions in profit while consumers experience inflation and shrinkflation
GM boosting its share buyback program while laying off thousands just before Christmas...

There is enough money in the economy to go around. The distribution of it has just radically changed.

Because the billionaires who control the government who makes the rules ensures that it continues.

Let them eat cake.

One candidate wanted to provide you with 25 grand towards the purchase of a house for 1st time homebuyers and 50 grand if you wanted to open up a business. America decided to go with the tariff guy who doesn't understand how tariffs work.

Oh and kiss goodbye to that student loan relief.
I bet all the Republicans (not the regular citizens) don't lose debt relief
I think Biden could still cancel all debt from federal programs before he leaves and let everyone fight over it. I hope he does and makes the SCOTUS rule on it.

The thing that gets me is the people screaming about how loans shouldn't be forgiven - a lot of them got their PPP loans forgiven. It would be great if the Supreme Court had to rule that federal loans are not allowed to be forgiven and then all those people who milked the PPP loans suddenly find themselves having to pay them back.

I have a neighbor who owns a construction/home improvement company. Yes, Trump signs in the yard. When COVID happened, he couldn't hire enough people to do the work he got with people wanting to improve living spaces for WFH and lockdown. He made money hand over fist, well more than he ever paid out in payroll even when he was hiring like crazy. He took the loans "to cover payroll" even though he never needed to. He got every penny of that back. He bought two boats, an RV, a vacation house, 2 new trucks and bought his kid a BMW when he turned 16.

Laid off all those new hires the instant the work leveled off before buying all that stuff. Probably complains about "welfare queens" getting free baby formula.

Hypocrisy is the greatest luxury.

Also about Blue Cross in those state not covering full anesthesia; at least we are free to switch to another provider.

*looks at camera*

Also we have separate health insurance, eye care insurance, and dental insurance. Why not a separate podiatry insurance? How about cardiology insurance?

Wait, if they spun off another specialty you know what it would be...... And I'm surprised they haven't yet, maybe this administration will allow it.....Women's Health insurance aka Female Trouble coverage
