So as soon as I land in GA I get this text and it seems quite a few people are getting them.
As I didn't get these until now in GA, not sure if it was a coincidence, but others did get this text but haven't heard or seen folks outside of GA get it.



Also, my co-worker/friends kids (who are 23 and 18) keep getting Trump flyers in the mail. They never come addressed to my friend even though in GA you don't register for a party, as you only specify the party you are voting for when voting during primary elections

His riding in Burnaby doesn't look to be in jeopardy in most of the polling I've seen. It's pretty solid orange historically. Even if he resigned as leader after an election he could still sit for a few more months and get the pension.

I'm also assuming he's doing this because they have internal polling showing that they can make gains at Liberal expense in Toronto at least which he could paint as progress. This Angus Reid poll from the weekend seems to indicate that (although take AR polling with a grain of salt):



And seeing that the BQ basically can't ask for more than the above my guess is Justin won't find any help there to keep his government alive. Only real question now is how the non-confidence motion is put forward when parliament reconvenes in two weeks. Not sure that either Jagmeet or Pierre want an immediate election because BC's already got a provincial one coming in October, the US election will eat airtime through November and then you have Christmas. My guess is we wind up with a January election like in 2006.
