Someone who opposed the bill (WTF - who opposes kids being able to eat?) said "This bill is going to benefit the rich kids in <some rich suburb> too". Uh yeah, that's a side benefit. Asshole.


Favorite thing I have read about him since looking around - when elected to Congress the first time, someone told him that they may have to take a pay cut due to budget issues and he said "This is four times the money I've ever made as a teacher, so I don't see the big deal".
