S2 existed.

This last season was way too CW. A bunch of really stupid high school angst drama.

Then the last episode. Or more specifically the end of the big showdown. The big fight was stupid. I was half tempted to not even finish the episode/season mid way through the big fight. Then it ended. Wow. I was not expecting that. The show went from stupid bubblegum CW garbage to dark in no time flat.

I don’t think it was too much. I think it was pretty thinly laid in the middle of the karate dispute. It didn’t come into the forfront until tori and Miguel caused that big fight.

while it was unfortunate, Miguel brought that on himself. Not by showing mercy, but because Robby had already de-escalated he situation and Miguel made it 300x worse on his own.

S2 was not half as good as S1, but if the show actually gets a budget, it might be good again. I fully support this news.

not sure how YT could drop this one, though. It was the ONLY reason to do YouTube red. Unless YT is scrapping the idea entirely...

Agree but I think that season 2 did have two of my favorite episodes which were the one were Johnny met up with his old friends and then the finale.
Youtube dropping it is still baffling as it was probably the only show that they produced that ever got any mainstream attention. But it going to Netflix would be a great boost as it'd probably get a lot more eyeballs on the show. My guess is that YouTube is going to just chalk down Red as a failure and dump everything and focus more on their YouTube TV?

Selling multiple shows off seems to indicate they’re scrapping it.

I have not read any posts in this thread. I have just finished episode 6 season 1. I am very impressed with this show. Can’t wait to see what happens. So glad Netflix picked this up, been wanting to watch this for 2 years. Also see they have season 3 coming

Yeah, I think season three is coming some time in 2021 but no definite date has been announced yet to my knowledge. I'd assume it'll probably be in April, like when the first two seasons came out when it was on YouTube.

I binged the show over the last few days. Couldn't get enough of it.

It's incredible how well they did these flashback scenes. Those young actors look exactly like younger versions of the main characters. Amazing!

Seriously though, The depth of Johnny was very well written. Only criticism I have on his character development is that they basically had him in a coma, for him to know absolutely nothing about technology. Pretty silly.

Otherwise, it's a good script with a mixed bag on acting skills. I enjoyed it, and I'm looking forward to season 3.

Spectrum has a live tv app that only exists with roku. they only provide 1 box for the whole house (dvr) so if you have multiple TVs, you can only watch live through the streaming app.
