I truly wonder if we could re-acquire Lee again! I mean he has 2 yrs left on contract like Price and I'm sure he would cost less! Question is does he hate it in Seattle? He's also a LHP and he could slot in right after Felix again! I wonder if we could send $ in the deal. It should def. be something Z should be looking at. I wouldn't doubt that Phillies would love Nick Franklin (having Utley or not). It seemed like Lee had a really good 1st half here in Seattle. Thoughts? Chances of this happening?

Love Lee, but still need more offense. I doubt we do it. Phils would probably make us take back a contract.

Word is the Mariners are reaching their payroll limit. He is scheduled to make $25m in 2014 and 2015. I'm not sure they could really afford him with how much they currently want to spend on payroll.

I would love to see him back though if the price is right. In 2010 with the Mariners he had a 2.34 ERA, giving up only 6 walks in 103 innings for an insane 0.5 BB/9IP ratio.

I still think Lee is a better alternative to Price, if they miss out on Tanaka. Up there in age or not he's still dominant and a good #2 for behind Felix. Not only that LHP like Price and could be cheaper in prospects to get.
