Gallo and Heineman both homered tonight on rehab with the Rookie leaguers.
The plan was for the Chisox series.Gallo back by Monday you think?
Minor and Lynn now looking like masterful signings
Hr is hitting well right now, but like Odor, we have seen him have hot streaks before and then plummet.
Don't get cute with the draft.
Not talking about anyone here specifically, but It’s disappointing that all some people are thinking about is “trade bait” right now. This team isn’t terrible enough to trade everyone away. People should just kick back and enjoy a better season than we all expected.
That would include you, just enjoy the season and stop trying to deplete the farm system, I've always said play it out, stand pat, and when we're no longer in contention, try to extract a maximum package for our guys, if possible... bc you never know when a Dempster will turn into a Hendricks down the road
I have no problem holding onto Minor or Lynn, but I also don't really want to go "Dempster diving" and paying a premium price on trash
I’m not advocating making huge trades that deplete the farm, but there has to be a way to fill some holes by picking up salary dumps similar to the Yankees EE trade or deals for decent players who don’t cost much in prospects.
I think he has to go through the waiver wire before we can pick him up for a minor league contract. Not surprising, but will they get him to go to the minors to try and correct what is wrong??
If he can correct what is wrong he is a decent pitcher and would give the young'uns more time in the minors (which obviously they need from what I'm seeing when they come up).
