One again JD has proben to be a terrible GM. He is just no good at negotiations. He has failed us too many times. He needs to be replaced. What an embarrassment.

My thinking on Choo which kind of aligns with yours is that you are paying the guy anyway and he is taking up space. Someone in contention could us him so go ahead and trade him for something and pay part of his salary which of course is less than all of his salary. To keep him and pay ALL of his salary is a total waste.

I love Gallo's athleticism. I just hope he doesn't have any issues with that wrist in the future.

We have an ace pitcher, a promising pen, a RF and power bat, promising young players in Solak, IKF, Taveras Santana ,Heiniman.
May have missed one or two.
That is a lot of talent and if JD can get his act together, in two years we may be a good team again. Trying to remain positive and realistic.

We have a man in JD who has developed into a GM that is completely out of touch with how negotiations work, whether that be with other GMs or with agents of really good players.

To build a WS team you have to be able to do three things reasonably well. You have to be able to draft and develop talent. You have to be able to make good trades when you are a selling team. You have to be able to sign a few really good free agents. Under JD's leadership we are failures in all three areas.

I agree 100%. My concern is why he is still the GM.
