(2) I don't see the need for him to say "boobs". The other two made the mistake of making that all they heard. They should have acted like they heard many guys say that before (which is probably true) and just continued to talk about Jemele Hill. I just figured it was a weird time to say that, even if it is a common phrase he says.

1st amendment is freedom of speech, so saying "boobs" as the 2nd thing is kind of a play on the 1st. It's "shocking" to hear him say it, but really it's very mild and meant to be humorous.
