“Their face-saving PR campaign which, in my opinion, was designed to make them appear to be sympathetic to victims of sexual assault or domestic violence is now revealed for what it really was, a sham and a slick PR trick, because their words do not match their deeds in this case,” said California attorney Gloria Allred, who represents Spillman’s alleged victim. “I am very happy that the criminal justice system will now try to move forward to prosecute Mr. Spillman, but it is shameful that the NFL has taken no meaningful action in the interim,” she added.


Looks like Goodell is in the cross-hairs of Ms. Allred. Good luck! Add another shit brick onto his pile.

The thing is that anytime she is involved in a case it gets much more attention than if another attorney were handling it and I don't think the NFL wants the publicity about another domestic abuse situation. But they got it!!

Gloria Allred is a headline seeking b. If Spillman did it he deserves to b convicted and punished but he will be guilty in the court of public opinion due to Allread's publicity campaign regardless of the court case outcome.
