This trade was a good move by the 49ers and certainly worth it. When he is healthy, he is good and he also great fit for their offense. To say otherwise is nonsense. You got to take risks to have a chance. It also keeps him from going to rival, so it was a good move on many fronts.

It was an overpay for sure... but San Fran is trying to win now... Seattle is likely going to be very strong in a couple years, Lance looks like a bust... Jimmy Garporrlorlrorlrorl is an uncertainty.. Bosa/Kittle can't stay healthy... that all said, San Fran actually has a legit shot to go the distance (at least arrive at the Super Bowl) this season... might as well go for it.

I think it’s a good trade for the Panthers and if CMC stays healthy will be good for San Fran too.

Agreed. CMC injury history is a red flag, but in no means guarantees an injury. I like the trade for the Niners.
