Chris Phillips and Mike Fisher are on the market

Pierre Lebrun talked about Phillips being shopped around last night but now there are rumblings about Mike Fisher also being shopped.

Both guys could be very beneficial to playoff teams and Ottawa needs to shake up the core.

What would you offer for either guy and what teams would be interested?

Yeah, that's part of the reason why he's being shopped...

He's never going to put up a lot of points but -15 is very uncharacteristic for him. On a contender he would probably do a little better though since he's usually as solid of a defensemen as there is.

It's kind of surprising for a guy of his caliber really. Truth be told - I always wanted to see him in O&B since he came into the league, but....I have my doubts now.

Phillips? Oh, I'd love that in Black and Vegas Gold. Pretty much 100% sure it's financially impossible, but it'd be nice to never have to play against him. Sid even said he's the toughest Dman he's had to play in the league.

There's a lot of guys on the Sens that are surprisingly bad this year though so I think it has a lot more to do with the team then it does with Phillips.

I can pretty much guarantee he'll rebound on another team. Maybe it's all he needs and it could be what a lot of guys need on the Sens.

I agree with him being tough to play against too. There's a reason Crosby hasn't been as dominant against the Sens over the years as he has been against other teams and that reason is Phillips. I think he'd be a great pickup for a contender.
