Rumor is King will not be extended and is on the trade block. A bit surprised by that. But why sign Harris to not use him in the slot also?

Oh I get using Harris in the slot but this is also why I questioned them signing him. I would rather extend King than have signed Harris.

Guessing it comes down to long term money in this case. If they were at the same price then for sure you want the younger King who has played great (took a slide last year but has been really good so far)
I would think the Chargers could afford King though not like they have a lot locked in so that is really the surprise to me.
