Well, they don't have to release the guy to remain crappy. One replacement isn't going to help these guys if they expect to go well over 100 losses.

As far as it impeding their deal-making, nah ... that's front offices being evaluated by sports scribes who have no idea about how a team spends its money. MLB teams have $60 million to blow if they have to.

In Baldy's case, the whole of the system was run by inept idiots and that can't be fixed easily. They could get some good players but they won't.

He needs to take Mark Grace's advice.

"A slump-buster is if a team's in a slump, or if you personally are in a slump, you gotta find the fattest, gnarliest, grossest chick and you just gotta lay the wood to her. And when you do that, you're just gonna have instant success. And it could also be called jumping on a grenade for the team."

Chris Davis has been worth -3.5 WAR since the beginning of 2018. He's at 14.5 career WAR now. Can he make it to 0?

43 OPS+ over that span. This guy is a 1B/DH.

BWI's first game in a NL stadium is May 24th against Colorado.

Who here thinks Baltimore has a pitcher get a hit before Davis does this year?

Obviously the guy has vision issues. It isn't all from just having poor form. If he can't see the ball, he isn't ever going to hit it.

What's weird is some fuckin' guy actually walked him.

I think eyesight has some to do with it, but his drop from being a HR crusher to being a K machine directly coincides with him not being able to take adderall anymore. He's on a different, extended release ADHD medicine that is approved by MLB.

No doubt the meds are a factor.

ITS OVER

First inning two run single snaps the streak.

Now he’s 1 for his last 55. Or if you’re a glass half full kind of person, he’s one for his last one.
