traded to Texns for a 7th round pick.

Thanks for 2013. (2014, not so much) and thanks for the extra pick!

Who is the backup LT. Answer better not be Louis or Evan

At this point it is probably Schofield being the swing tackle.

My guess is this is a precursor to something else. Could Ball be in play for a Swing LT?

Schoefield at RT is scary. At LT would be panic time. :)

That definitely could be. I know the Broncos haven't been satisfied so far with the OL depth. I think they really like the starters we have now but one of them goes down it could get interesting. Wouldn't surprise me if we see the Broncos make a trade such as Montee Ball to the Cowboys for something on the OL.

I'd rate Chris Clark a handshake - thanks for a great 2013 - and trip to the Super Bowl. On top of that we get a 7th rounder - that's good.

Well, we at least cleared $1.4MM in Clark's salary for someone else if we plan on doing that.

I would not be surprised to see Jake Long signed prior to the season.

Texans must have liked what they saw when they played vs Clark 9 days ago.

This wouldn't surprise me. What would surprise me is leaving our depth as is. They must think there will be some decent Oline cuts they'll be able to get.

According to PFF Clark has the 3rd highest grade of the OL players so far this preseason. Vasquez and Garland are the only two that have graded out better. So wouldn't surprise me if they liked what they saw.

Not sure about this move. Clark proved more than serviceable when called upon at LT.

Not unusual at all for a 7th rounder to end up a starter. Good luck getting even a 4th round guy these days for a above avg player. Think they got a good deal even getting draft pk for him. No knock on Clark but that's the NFL nowadays. Look at our 7this this yr:)

Randy, you realize you're arguing/correcting yourself by quoting yourself, right?

Not sure. Never sure where I'm coming from most the time. But I do know that half the stuff I say is usually only half the time what I meant to say when I half way think I know what I said in the first place. So yes..but not sure:)

I would think they could have gotten better then a 7th round pick but anyone else thinking this was about saving some money under the cap as well to pick some guys up that may be cut? Chris Clark graded out as Denver's worst lineman overall in run blocking last year. I'd like to see Denver get a big body or two on the D line if possible.
