LOL "Get a fall guy." Carter should have stuck with having only caught TDs.

"The comment was not representative of the message of the symposium or any other league program..."

Um, when your marquee speaker says it, it kind of does represent the message of the symposium. Even though it's true,

"If you're gonna get around that stuff, you need a fall guy. For me, it's the ball boys." - Tom Brady

Bunch of tight asses in the league offices make this kind of stuff necessary. Good on Cris for trying to give some rookies real advice instead of some fluffed up bullshit.

Also this happened in 2014. Why is burying people a part of the news cycle? Pathetic.

What? So it's ok to send the message of "Go ahead and fuck up however you see fit. You don't need to be a real man/adult. Just get a fall guy"?

This is what I was thinking about Eaglesnut's comment? So yeah let's just teach these guys that they have no personal responsibility for what they do. Go out and drive drunk and kill somebody but just make sure the fall guy is in the vehicle so you can switch seats real quick. Yup that sounds good to be teaching these guys.

I like CC, but this was typical hood thinking. These are adults he is talking to, not kids. They should better by now, but then again, it IS the Nfl.......

They're football players. If it keeps them on the field it's sound advice.
