Didn't RG3 say he wanted to go to Houston before they signed Brock? Now he wants to be a Ram.

not interested, but they okay with keeping the shit kickers that we have now...Gotcha, that's a big 10-4. I would bring in Kaep for the low; still a decent to good QB. He caught a bad deal in San Fran, with everybody checking out.
By gotcha, you mean the author Josh Hill, right?

With that Jermaine, I am leery of RG2.5. Hearing his former Offensive Line and WR corp. talk about him really scares me. So now it's two Head Coaches, his former offensive line and WR saying he was a bad seed. The scale weighs heavy that he is a head case.

The Broncos have set their sites on Kaepernick and they and the Niners are negotiating a trade. Word from SBNation and the YardBarker is that a deal could be done as early as next week.

I found this in regards to where the 'leak' of RGIII wanting to come to the Rams may have come from.

The following suggests the slant of who might be responsible for the leak and why...

The Rams: The report cites the prospect of playing with AP Offensive Rookie of the Year Todd Gurley as being appealing to Griffin. It is presumably appealing for other quarterbacks as well, and if Griffin is reportedly interested in getting himself to Los Angeles, another QB could conceivably jump at a lesser offer to get there before him.

The 49ers: Griffin potentially being off the board increases their leverage in a potential Kaepernick trade, whether with the Broncos or another team.

Non-Griffin free agent quarterbacks: Griffin potentially being off the board increases their leverage in negotiations with teams other than the Rams, like the Broncos, Browns or Jets.

Not Robert Griffin III: If RG3's people are leaking this, what are they doing? It should appear at all times as if their client is weighing offers from multiple suitors and is not leaning in any particular direction, so they can create a bidding war. Especially when there doesn't appear to be much of a market for the player, you don't really want to appear zeroed in on one particular destination.

Fans of symmetry: Griffin was of course selected with a draft pick that originally belonged to the Rams. They traded that pick to Washington (in part because they felt they had their quarterback of the future in Sam Bradford; whoops) for, like, a gazillion other picks. Now, he's reportedly interested in joining the Rams. You can't make this stuff up.
I personally love the 'Fans of symmetry' angle!

Mainly because, if he were to become the Rams starting QB and he were to blossom as the QB he was hyped up to be entering the draft, it would be AWESOME!!!!

Maybe it's true and he does want to play for the Rams, maybe Robert is a fan of symmetry! :suds:

Doesn't help his paycheck though...

Oh and if I had to guess who is responsible for the lead, I'm going with the Broncos even though it's not on the list.

What better way to payback his former team. I love the idea. Got major wood in my shorts when I read that article. Then I read you article that the Rams are not interested..

We would have to do something with Foles I think..?

In my opinion, there are not a lot of options for our Rams at QB's, looking to Free Agency or considering a trade that can get us to the playoffs next season.

Colin Kaepernick, Cost - Probable 2nd rounder unless we offer Foles in the trade deal.
Ryan Fitzpatrick, Cost - Probable 3 year deal minimum.
Robert Griffen, Cost - Probable 2 year deal minimum.
Johnny Manziel, Cost - Possible low level trade, Probable 2 year deal minimum.

Kaep makes the most sense, but we would have to trade for him at a high cost. This means he would be our hopeful QB of the future. A possible trade of Foles to Chip Kelly at least makes since, however they are unlikely trade partners.

Fitz is a Free Agent, and at 33 he is probably looking for a longer contract than we should offer if we are putting our hopes in Mannion in 2017.

RGIII is somewhat attractive because he is a free agent and it seems there is little to no interest in his services. So a low risk/cost 2 year prove it deal could work out. We would still need to move Foles or Case IMO. I am concerned about the RGIII knocks on his attitude. Too many suggest he may be a bad seed, do we really want to take that sort of chance in our locker room?

Johnny is a wild card. He will most likely get cut however if we could dump the Foles deal on the Browns in the process, we could see if a change of scenery would do him well. In LA he could get his fix of the spot light from 'Hollywood'. It may even grow old on him and Fisher has a way with these types of guys from time to time.

Did I miss anyone?

sorry...when you post something like this it looks like you are all for it!
Nope, just the conduit.

He does scare the bejesus out of me though. I would be comfortable with a safe prove it deal, I just don't want the drama associated with our team.

Remember the last circus we had in our locker.....

I think Kap ends up in Cleveland and Fitz in Denver.
