Yes KC stepped up big time in the 2nd half. I was impressed with KC scrambles. Extended drives and he played smart. Doctson has to make that catch. Kc made a great throw. JOn Gruden mentioned that KC had Reed open on the sideline but you cant make any better throw then he did to Docston. Also, that drop left too much time on the clock for KC to get in FG range.
Norman is going to be out 2 weeks. So he will miss the SF game. We should be able to beat SF without him. Perine is just bad. I agree with you about going after Peterson. He would provide a nice jolt to this offense. The defense was on the field way too much last night. They couldnt get of the field and made stupid penalties. Even so we should of taken the lead in the game.
I liked how our team stepped up but we couldn't finish. On the last play I was expecting a short pass to pickup the first down to kill time. I wasn't expecting both Doctosn and Reed going to the endzone. Its a gamble and it almost worked. Well should of worked. The down side is you leave way too much time on the clock. I did not understand the run on 2nd down to CT into the middle of the line. Why wasn't CT or Crowder used in the passing game last night? That baffles me.
This loss hurts. I know its KC but we should of had this one.
Had we got the TD, KC would have needed a TD, not a FG.
It hurts because we should have won. It is acceptable because it was an expected loss the whole time.
