That's the thing, they're not bandwagon. They go march on the president's lawn demanding a change. An NFL fan would've just become a seahawk or bronco fan.
Fans were civil in both places. There was plenty of trash talking going on but absolutely nothing that crossed any lines. I just didn't like the nonstop yelling for the sake of nonstop yelling. Half the time nothing was even going on.
And this claim is based on what? I think if you root for a pro sports team you know that your team is not going to win every single year and that every streak of greatness is likely to be followed by a streak of losing. That's just the nature of pro sports ( well, except for MLB where teams just try to buy championships). Any reasonable person doesn't jump ship after one bad season.
After thinking about it though, you're right. There are fewer bandwagon fans in college simply due to the fact that most fans attended the school and it's just not the same rooting for a school you didn't attend. I think what I'm really trying to say is that the number of fair weather fans doesn't change much from college to pro.
I will say that fans of big name programs in particular don't really have a reason to be bandwagon fans since, again, they tend to win every single year. That also makes them unreasonable when they lose a few for once. Thinking you're entitled to seeing a 10+ win team every year and protesting at the President's house is beyond stupid.
More impressive for KC than Seattle given stadium design.
"I hate Seattle" - AZ-DbacksAZ
Not sure AZ's comment is that insulting. Pretty sure it is well proven that an open stadium is going to have more trouble generating sound than that of Seattle's stadium that can have sound bounce around the stadium and down to the field. So yes it is a very impressive feat for the Chiefs to have this recognition.
Its not and I'm the last person to be insulted by anything.
I was just pointing out that anytime he can take a jab at the Hawks he does.

Stadium design definitely helps Seattle, but then you also need to account for the fact that Arrowhead holds 9500 more people than the Clink so it's probably a wash.
How can grown ass men be bragging about how loud they can scream? These same "men" are also competing to see how many people they can pack into their Fiats.
In San Diego we're too busy drinking beer and checking out our cheerleaders with binoculars to scream. Not to mention if we screamed that loud our stadium would implode.
