Was held back by HC!I'm hearing that Kentucky's OC might get the job. I'd give him a chance, but that would annoy me. Kentucky wasn't exactly a potent offense this year, and hiring an outsider might rub someone that's already there the wrong way.
Sam Pittman has been named as Associate Head Coach to go with remaining the offensive line coach, and is now the highest paid o-line coach in NCAAF history.
He's making nearly as much as Tennessee is paying Chaney.
This tells me we could have kept Chaney if Kirby really wanted to, but Pittman was more important to lock up.
