To bad, hoping he's back 100% for next year.

Overpaid overrated asshole pretty boy...

You can call him smart for opting out of Dallas if you want, but I think he's abused the system.

Parsons is now due to make more in four years for the Grizzlies than Michael Jordan (yes, Michael Jordan) did his whole career. And how the fuck is Memphis coming up with this kind of money???

Man. The Grizzlies injury woes have been ridiculous the last 12 months. With an aging core, they may seriously regret these big contracts in a couple years.

Not a fair comparison. Can't compare salaries from 20 years ago to salaries today for many reasons.

Um, he makes more in one year than Bill Russell made his whole career. It's called inflation, look it up.

Point being, Parsons is coming off an injury-plauged season yet is received close to $100 million.

Is something not wrong with this picture?

With the crazy new cap from the TV money lots of ridiculous contracts are happening. And all sports have inflation. I remember when the Giants signed Hunter Pence to a 5 yr/$90M contract a few years ago, thought it was steep, now that's a ridiculous bargain. Parsons got overpaid sure but wait til you see how big the overpays are next year.

It's better than creating my own thread about it, isn't it?

No, because your comment had nothing to do with Parsons being out for the season. Should be a new thread.
