You do realize the Patriots are the current SB champs don't you? They will remain champs until someone dethrones them.

Exactly. He shouldn’t be the backup
Right. No one can trade 2 years of picks for their franchise QB, develop him and then not use him.

No one can start two QBs either which seems like the next dumb thing you'd say.

The only thing you came close to mentioning that even remotely "hurts the future" is Golden Tate and not even for the reason you mention. You tried to fit it in with your other lies, but you could actually make a small case that the 3rd rounder for Tate was ill-advised.

But instead you buried it in with the rest of your complete Bullshit like Timmy Jernigan is anything other than an injured shadow of his former self that can't even play a full season anymore before his latest injury. The details and the actual facts don't help your case so you ignore them.

I'm sorry I gave you such a reasoned reply to your other bullshit. Oh well.

I had to go back and reread this.
For a moment I thought you were talking about Carson Wince.

Dude, give it up. We are fucked forever and there’s 15 threads to prove it. @jarntt is wrong about our cap because we don’t give mediocre players mega contracts and then cut them. Huge difference between what us and the Cowboys do/did. But give it up. Obviously we are wrong cause there’s 15 threads up now about how we are fucked. Maybe we should cut everyone and reset the cap at zero and forfeit the season.
No, you're wrong because you're wrong. It's actually quite simple.

Where does the can land? Your post will still be here in two years, three years, four years, ten years, to prove how wrong you were so make a guess...

You try to act like this is the first time the Eagles have done this.:spit:

No because ALL the success the Eagles have had for the past two decades since Howie's been working the cap is enough proof.

Fans from Philadelphia crack me up.

Eagles lucky they don’t play the Browns - they’d get their poops pushed in. Really deep.

Baker Fuckin Mayfield.

What the Eagles are doing is getting guys to take less on the cap in exchange for more guaranteed money in future years. So they don't get more overall, but get more guaranteed. They did this for Malcolm Jenkins, and some others. It makes sense with players like that who were unlikely to be cut anyway. But it is riskier with a guy like Lane Johnson due to his juice issues.
It's not getting guys to do anything. What it does is push the cap hit down the road. There's nothing wrong with that. As long as you do this with players who were 100% going to make the roster anyway and you don't financially extend yourself beyond 50-60% over the cap there's no issue.* If you end up guaranteeing money to players who aren't guaranteed to make the roster then sooner or later it'll bite you in the ass.

*As long as the cap continually increases. If it doesn't increase you get into trouble as the Cowboys did circa 2011.

They can if the other option is a healthy SB MVP.

You're less than smart my friend

Top 5 in what?
You really are becoming pathetic.

So before you try and spin this. Just know winners don't consider missing the playoffs almost 50% of the time or quick playoff exits as anything special.

Haha that's great and as Howie has continued to kick the can down the road this past decade you're not even top 10. Coincedently that's the same time Howie became VP of personnel and GM.

Set the bar low, that way you can achieve:martini:

So we are top 5 in wins and playoff wins (I think) but not top 10. Okay sure dude.

Ranking the NFL's 32 teams during the decade
I can save you time... ranked 4th
