I cant believe UW has only played 5 teams over .500 and lost one of those games. While they dominated the PAC, probably the weakest P5 conference, I just dont think their resume is good. A top 10 win against Colorado could help but all those teams have better resumes.

And yet I think they have the best shot of beating Bama out of the other playoff teams.

43 seniors with more talented players to replace them. I'm real scared. I bet we still do better than Peddie State in the next two years. Your team blows and is overrated.

Damn 43 seniors and you lost to the youngest team in the nation in a game where they didnt even play good. That sucks for scUM fans. This was the year, now y'all are fucked :laugh3:

Probably not. I'm happy for the seniors that stuck it out & didn't transfer though. They had a rough 3 years before the turn around this year.

This is true. I'm really not trying to say the Pac is shit and the Huskies should be locked out. But they really aren't getting that much attention, so what else can you point to other than resume? That said, if Washington wins the Pac, they are probably in.

I cant disagree with that. I also think that QB has showed when he actually played a talented team in USC he is mentally weak. That is literally the only good team they have played and Bama is a different monster

Seriously get over the 43 seniors thing. A lot of those guys were soft ass Hoke players. Kyle Kalis sucks ass for one.

I think if the Huskies take care of business in their CCG they'd be a lock for the Playoff.

And the final score doesn't change how the game actually went.

Anyone else looking at that game is gonna say Michigan took care of business and put Colorado away. What else can be said? Saying Colorado got killed was over the top.. I'll take that back, but how closely do you think this game will be analyzed when it comes to selection time?

Has Michigan ever won a real NC in like the last 70 years. The answer is no. Y'all had the best team you will have. I bet that is pretty depressing. Harbaugh is such a little bitch just like scUM fans. Whiniest fans in college football, that sounds about right.

It doesn't matter we didn't win the conference. Only way Michigan gets in is if almost every favorite next week loses.

Just stop w/ the Hoke stuff. UofM has never had a problem getting damn good talent in ann arbor. Harbaugh took Hoke's recruits & doubled the win total in 1 year. Talent wasn't the issue under Hoke, the coaching was the problem.

Nowhere near the most talented team. Carr had like 4 or 5 teams that were more talented. A lot of these players were overrated and soft. Look at some of the RBs and OLinemen. Soft. QBs are garbage. More talented players are coming in, just like Meyer when he replaced Tressell and his overrated recruits.

You're right about that. I get your point, that just wasn't the first time I've seen someone say Colorado was 'killed' in the last 24 hours, and that's just not how I remember the game.

I'm saying a lot of those guys were still under performers this year. That O-line is soft except for 2/3 players. Kalis was a 5 star recruit and now is going to be a late round draft pick. He sucks and is soft. I will retract that statement if he is the next Jake Long or Joe Thomas.

“Experts” have been downplaying Washington’s schedule all year. But if Washington takes care of Colorado next week they will finish 12-1 in a power conference with a 4-1 record against ranked teams/teams over .500

Yet, the talk still revolves around the possibility of a 2 loss Wisconsin or Penn State team leap frogging Washington to take the #4 spot in the CFB playoff rankings.

This is unprecedented. A dominant 1 loss Pac-12 (or Pac-10) team has never finished outside of the top 4 in the CFB rankings or AP Top 25. Matter fact, in 2010 both Oregon and Stanford finished 12-1 and were ranked #3 and #4 despite the Pac-10 not having a single team ranked in the top 25 besides Oregon and Stanford.

Stanford didn't beat a single ranked team that year and Oregon's lone quality win was against Stanford.

So what's the difference with Washington?

Name brand and prestige. I guarantee you if USC had the exact same success with the exact same schedule, they'd be a lock for #2 or #3 without anyone questioning it.

Now let's look at resumes.

Washington has faced 4 teams over .500

Both Penn State and Wisconsin have faced 2 more quality teams (over .500) on their schedule, but Washington has performed better against those quality teams outscoring those teams by an average score of 33-18. Penn State’s average score against teams over .500 is 29-29 and Wisconsin’s average score is 19-17.

If anything, Michigan is the 2 loss team most deserving of playoff consideration. They’ve beaten 3 top 10 teams including both Penn State AND Wisconsin.

That's because the majority of this board has forgotten what it's like dealing with a dominant Big 10 conference. Y'all thought the SEC got the media love. They have been waiting for this for over a decade...

I think it's true but the wack alignment allowed for this. I really think there are only 3 legit Big 10 teams this year.

Dude, the Pac 12 isn't weaker than the Big 12 this year. We suck, it's possible our champion will have a loss to a 6-6 MAC team...

You dont need explain why y'all keep losing to Ohio St. It's bc Harabugh is overrated and so is your team usually. This year was a different story but you wont EVER see a less experienced Ohio St team than this year and you STILL lost. Damn

Meyer never had overrated recruits. His recruits win national championships something Harbaugh has never accomplished and never will.
