totally agree with you. the contract itself is actually a great deal in terms of the value the mets will get even if he went the entire 3 yrs.. which he won't if he has even an average season by his standards.

Great job by Alderson this offseason. Expensive but the 3 years was key, off the books when the pitchers need to get locked up
