According to Paul Alexander, it's looking like Kyle Cook will be our center once again.

This is great news for those fans that enjoy watching our running backs gain 2 ypc and passes batted down due to collapsing pockets.

Who-Dey!

Robinson has apparently been recovering from some sort of off season injury or surgery.

It might have been a severely bruised ego after getting replaced by a one-legged center that wasn't even good when he played on two.

That is very possible. I'd rather swing Hawkinson inside at C than play Cook.

:bullshit:

And this is why Marvin will never win here.... unreal he is even considered to be a first string center.

We have no viable replacements. Robinson's "hype" is only a product of this message board.

Robinson was "the best of a bad group" according to PFF ratings. He's the only one of himself, Cook, and Faine who had a positive grade as a run blocker. Still, center would appear to be the OL's achilles heel.

That grade is based off of the 4 games he played against weak competition. I wouldn't put any stock into it.

Robinson has more potential upside imo, though the statement in bold says it all.

I don't like any of them. I think they should have tried to make Wharton our center.

Cook is gonna fuck up and when he does....Trevor will be there to scratch his ass..... Trevor > Cook. Cook may be smart but he is not moving people out of the way.... I cant wait to week 1 then we will see all we need to know about Cook...If we cant run on Chicago in Chicago with an injured DJ Williams and IRed Kelvin Hayden and pressure is coming up the middle on every other plays then no one here has anything to say...NO EXCUSE FOR COOK! NONE! Do the job and if he is injured then take his ass out of the game....
