Celtics come in 11-14 which isn't bad for a rebuilding year. They're 6-6 at home and have won 6 of their last 10.

Minnesota is 12-12, 5-8 on the road, 4-6 in their last 10.

NBA.com's Morning Shootaround blog reports a rumor that the Celtics are discussing acquiring Omer Asik
from the Houston Rockets, who are coached by former Celtic Kevin McHale.

I'm not wild about giving up this quickly on either Kelly Olynyk or Vito Faverani, but like the little I've seen of Asik.

For what it's worth Houston has said it will trade Asik by Thursday.

Trade or notrade,

GO CELTICS! :yahoo::nod::yahoo::nod::yahoo:

Almost game time!

GO CELTICS! :yahoo:
Hahaha. Celtics fan myself, but these threads must be lonely as shit. BTW, I have a feeling Rondo is going to be traded to Indiana if he can play, likely for Granger and/or Hill. Something like that.

As usual Heinsohn's going overboard on his criticism of the refs, but the Celtics are coping well with somanycalls going against them.

Anyone else going to post here tonight?

Wolves without Martin and his 20 ppg keeping game close at half....Rondo to Pacers, wow.

Tommy being a homer what else is new

A frequently funny homer, but he could take a pointer or two from the players about handling debatable ref calls.

Rondo being cleared for for full-contact practices is good news to Celtics fans!

KEEP IT UP, CELTICS! :clap:

Nice win tonight.

I'm honestly pretty excited about this team going into the future. Green is a 17+ PPG scorer and your 3 long term. AB is a 15 a game guy and one of the best on ball defenders in the league. Sully is a 15-16 and 8-0 RPG guy and your long term 4/5. Then you have Rondo. Rondo, AB, and Crawford is a nice 1/2 combination long term. All 3 can play the 1, so you can have a lot of combinations of back courts with the 3.
