Before I start talking about tonight I want to mention something I find consoling about last night's Celtic's loss.

The Nets were the only metro New Dork City team that won.

The (D)evils last to Columbus 5-4.

The Strangers lost to Nashville 4-1

The Wrong Islanders lost a shootout to San Jose.

And the Wooden Knickles lost to Cleveland 109-94.

So while Boston teams split, New Dork City teams were 1-4!

Enough of that.

Tonight, 9 year Celtics coach Glenn Anton "Doc" Rivers leads the Los Angeles Clippers into TD BankNorth Garden.

Clippers come in 14-8 while the Celtics are a better than expected 10-13.

Bradley, Green and Sullinger have been sensational for Boston so far this year and Jordan Crawford has appeared to
have finally figured out what he was doing wrong earlier in his career. Here's hoping he really has!

GO CELTICS! :yahoo::yahoo::yahoo:

I'm trying to figure out if playing the Nets and Clippers back to back was scheduled like that on purpose. Not sure when the schedules came out, but playing Pierce, KG and the Nets and then Doc and the Clippers on back to back nights couldn't have happened on accident.

I'm hoping we pull out a win and NO ONE boos Doc. He did great things for us and it was mutual to move on, so no one should be booing.

I would expect some boos, but mostly a positive reception. I think there are plenty of Boston fans that feel Doc bailed on them.

Don't like to, but I have to root for the Clippers tonight. Can't think of a scenario that I'd actual root for the Celtics!

I doubt it was anything deliberate but can understand being unwilling to call anything coincidence.

The Celtics' broadcast station is definitely milking it in their ads.

Having grown up in the city where Blake Griffin went to HS I'll be hoping he has a good game without costing the Celtics a win. And would love seeing him in a Thunder uniform someday.

As I've said elsewhere a Celtics-Thunder NBA Final is something I've frequently fantasized about.

When the Celtics are playing the Wooden Knickles, perhaps?

A whole quarter with no FTAs by the Celtics?

No more of that, please, Celtics. It doesn't matter that FTAs are not an exciting part of b-ball!

We got away with one pass too many that trip down the floor.

Better too many passes than not enough, but...

2d quarter more like it in the free throw department.

We've won 2 quarters, let's go for 4!

I'm curious about how many other posters would like to see the Clippers go back San Diego. Anyone?

Not the ending I wanted, but the team did show hustle throughout.

So long for now.

I loved the game, and why didnt they defend the 3? Crawford is known for being a daggar player like Toney was. You take a tied game and give it up and get behind by ten in about two minutes. These kids got schooled. I suspect they learned, II hope so

Jordan Crawford played well, and that dude has got moves. I still cant believe they got him on trade of Barbosa

They did show a never-say-die attitude, didn't they? A bit too quick to settle for outside jumpers in stretches,
but when Rondo gets back...
