Washington QB Alex Smith, who missed the second half of last week's game due to soreness in his surgically repaired right leg, will not play Sunday. Dwayne Haskins will get the start vs. Seattle.

Washington also will be without starting linebackers Kevin Pierre-Louis (ankle) and Cole Holcomb(concussion). Running back Antonio Gibson, who participated in running back drills Friday, is listed as doubtful with turf toe. He did not play against San Francisco.
Best case scenario in my opinion. DH sucks it up but we still win the game. Do not want him to have one shining moment fooling the Washingtons FO in keeping him around another year and possibly starting him at QB next year. Do not feel this guy is a top tier quarterback in the NFL...at all.
On the other hand if the WFT knows this already and will be shopping him for better parts, then yes,, by all means throw for 400 yards and 4 TD's. Though lets be serious here. Does anyone on this forum get the feeling with DH behind center all those warm and fuzzies inside? I don't. I mean I do get those warm and fuzzies but vomit usually follows. At least with CDC you had the comfort of "some hope" that he wouldn't make it any easier for the other team. Tell me I'm wrong.
