Cashman has always been very calculated in what he says. That comment is more likely an organizational backed shut the fuck up.

I think conversations about his health have been had between the Yankees and his people, and he most likely again, violated a verbal understanding they had. Toss in the insurance aspect, and the Yankees obviously wanna be the ones to dictate when and if he returns

Goes far deeper than Cashman just losing his cool, because he never has, I firmly believe he will get complete organizational support
