Moving on from yesterday's debauchery.

I'm kind of stumped with Carolina right now. I thought they looked so good the first two weeks, and then they've just been awful since then. I seriously don't understand why their defense just fell off, and has been pounded the last two weeks.

I have no idea what to expect from this game.

I think reality stepped in the past two weeks knowing Hardy was not playing. Week 2 there is that extra step everyone has to make up for his missing the game. Week 3 and 4 they know he is not gonna be there. He didnt do much week one, but teams still game planned for him.

they threw 13 million at that man, kinda screws up the backup roles.

Most people are thinking this is the week the superman comes out of Newton.

I hope its Bostic or Mundy hitting him so hard it seperates the man and the myth for good.

Yeah, Benjamin looks very good, but outside of that. Their offense seems extremely unexciting. Hopefully Jay can bounce back. He usually does following his more poor performances.

We need to at least split these next two, heading into the Miami game at home. 3-2 sounds pretty good, considering the roller coaster ride that has been this first month.

I think Carolina kills the Bears. Ron will have that team ready, and the Bears lose. I had them losing this one before the season started, and there is nothing that changes my opinion about that outcome today.

Have you talked to any Panthers fans?

They're in full-on panic mode. They think they have one of the worst teams in football, or at least one of the worst offenses.

I have, lots of Panther fans down here. They were in panic mode until the game Sunday, now they think they have a chance. Plus, a loss like this at home is really tough. I don't think the Bears recover this coming Sunday.

Only had Hardy week 1 vs Tampa, they definitely miss his presence. Davis their LB who had big year last year was out vs Ravens as well.

They could be without Steward and Williams at RB now... Stewart was out and Williams got hurt last game. I watched the Steelers game and Cam does not look 100% either.

Personally I think Bears win this game.... Carolina is all banged up and their offense is a mess putting all kinds of pressure on their defense that is not as good as last year.

Yeah, Cutler usually responds well the following week after being criticized. I honestly just get the feeling that the Bears offense will put up some points, and the Panthers won't be able to keep up. We're catching them at a pretty good time.

I think it will be an ugly game, much like the Bears win vs NY. But I think they'll win. If they do, they also have two winnable games after with Atlanta and Miami.

Just watched the last two Carolina games, this is a team that looks totally out of sorts. Weird part is their run defense hasn't looked good, which surprises me given that front 7.

In watching the Bears/Packer game, most of the game was played pretty even except the third quarter obviously, in which Cutler threw 2 picks and defense played like garbage, particularly the vanishing pass rush. But you know what? The Bears running game was awesome. Cutler shouldn't have thrown those picks, but I think the better question is "why were we even bothering to throw it?" The Bears were totally dominating the line of scrimmage against the Pack in the third quarter, and I come from the school that says that if you are blowing them away on the line like that, keep doing it until they prove they can stop you. The same mistake was made last year against us by Dallas...they were destroying us, then starting on drive 3 they stopped running and suddenly the game got away from them.

I would again run it a lot against Carolina. A lot. Until Carolina shows they can stop it, run it down their throats. Baltimore, crappy rush offense and all, ran it successfully against the Panthers, and Pittsburgh DESTROYED Carolina with the run. I say run it until it freaking hurts. Run it right at Hardy's replacement.

Bears by a safe margin in this one.

I did the same thing late last night Cali. I watched the entire Baltimore/Carolina game.

It didn't take long for me to start feeling very good about our chances in this game Sunday.

If we end up on the plus side of the turnovers, i think we win.
