Albeit for the WC, they could have controlled their destiny with a win today - And while their is still a chance, they now have to depend on other results , which they have been lucky enough to get to this point to stay alive but that may not last long.

As for Wallace missing on that long pass… I was expecting that… That wasnt the right time to go for it all… they had at least one more shot to throw a shorter safer pass and be smart get out of bounds then go for thatt long pass… But all season long the Dolphins have struggled with calling the appropriate plays for the right circumstances. They just continue to beat themselves.

Another tough loss for the Fins. There is a thin line between winning and losing in the NFL. I'm not sure what the refs were thinking when they picked up the flag after Kuechly launched himself at Matthews for a helmet to helmet hit. Either way the Panthers made the plays in the 2nd half & the Fins offense couldn't get it going. The Panthers should enjoy it while they can because the Saints are playing on a whole different level & are the best in the NFC.

The Fins have played two great first halves this year in two losses (Pats and Panthers). Are other teams' coaches better at making in game adjustments or is it the players? Probably some of both IMO. I remember the beginning of Brady's career in the league. He wasn't great at making down the field throws either. He worked at it and got better. We saw some improvement today & we'll see if Tannehill can continue to improve. He has made a lot of mistakes this year RE turnovers. That will need to improve also for the Fins to become contenders. I think he has the talent to be a very good NFL QB. The team needs to re-sign Grimes IMO & get the top two Olinemen available when they pick in the draft. Another quality power running RB in the middle rounds would be good also. Good game by Carroll today & good to see Miller catch a few passes.

Probably some of both IMO.

Some of both but ultimately on the players.

As for the draft, getting a power back or any skilled offensive position player seems like a stretch with this FO, though they did it this past draft… They usually love going OL or defensive player and loading up on that. I think going after a power back will help - I will still insist and say they need to show more faith in Miller and simply call better plays for him - They seem to call horrible plays for him and they have a short leash on him… That isnt cool.
